1. Introduction These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the mobile application
Ploj (“the App”), provided by Ploj AB (organization no. 559390-6810), a company registered in
Sweden. By creating an account or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do
not agree, you may not use the App.
2. Purpose of the App Ploj is designed to encourage healthier relationships with technology use.
The concept is simple: children earn screen time through activities and challenges provided in the
App.
3. Eligibility and Accounts – A parent or legal guardian (“Parent”) must create the main account. –
The Parent is responsible for creating child profiles within the App. – The Parent remains fully
responsible for supervising the child’s use of the App and its features. – Users must provide
accurate information when creating an account.
4. Subscription and Payments – Ploj is free to use for the first 30 days. – After the trial period,
continued access requires a subscription. – Subscription fees are billed monthly and may be
adjusted over time. – Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. –
Payments are handled through the App Store/Google Play and subject to their terms.
5. User-Generated Content – Some challenges may require children to upload proof (e.g., a photo).
– Such content is only visible to the Parent linked to the child’s profile. – By submitting content, you
grant Ploj AB a limited license to store and display the content solely for the functionality of the App.
– Ploj AB reserves the right to remove content that violates these Terms.
6. Acceptable Use You agree not to: – Use the App for unlawful purposes. – Interfere with or attempt
to disrupt the App’s operation. – Upload content that is offensive, harmful, or violates third-party
rights.
7. Intellectual Property All rights to the App, its design, content, and features belong to Ploj AB. You
are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App in accordance with
these Terms.
8. Privacy and Data Protection – Ploj processes personal data in accordance with GDPR and
applicable laws. – Data collected may include account information, child profiles, challenge results,
and limited user-generated content. – Data is used solely to provide and improve the App’s services.
– Ploj does not sell personal data to third parties. – Parents may request access, correction, or
deletion of personal data by contacting info@ploj.app.
9. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability – The App is provided “as is” without guarantees of
uninterrupted or error-free operation. – Ploj AB is not liable for indirect damages, loss of data, or
misuse of the App. – Parents remain responsible for supervising their child’s use of the App.
10. Changes to Terms Ploj AB may update these Terms from time to time. Significant changes will
be communicated in the App or via email. Continued use of the App after updates constitutes
acceptance of the new Terms.
11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden. Any dispute
shall first be attempted to be resolved amicably. If not resolved, it shall be settled in Swedish courts.
